The Moreton Bay Foundation’s purpose is to protect and enhance the natural environment to enable future generations to live, work and play in Moreton Bay. We do this through awareness, education, influence, research facilitation and direct action. Workplace giving is a simple and tax-effective way to donate and help protect Moreton Bay for future generations.
What is workplace giving?
Employees contribute a small portion of their pre-tax salary to a charity of their choice and receive the tax benefit through their pay. The Moreton Bay Foundation Trust is a registered charity with ACNC and has deductible gift recipient status.
What is matched giving?
Employers can match donations made by employees, increasing the impact of each gift. Ask your employer whether they offer matched giving.
How to start workplace giving
If your employer offers workplace giving, ask your Payroll Officer to establish support for The Moreton Bay Foundation. Complete your employer’s authority form for payroll deductions, nominating the Foundation as your chosen charity.
If your employer uses Good2Give, request login details from payroll and set up your donation online. Employers without a program can contact Good2Give (good2give.ngo) or goodcompany (goodcompany.com.au), or visit the Australian Tax Office website for information on setting up their own program.
